Gottschalk Music Center's Return Policy

30 Days from the Invoice Date.

 

Our online return policy is 30 days. You may return your item within 30 days of your invoice date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Exclusions to 30-day return period include:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Clearance Items
  • Consumable Items (ex. reeds, picks, strings, etc.) must be returned in the original, unopened package.
  • Rental Instruments

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

 

Refunds

Requesting a Refund: call (209) 723-3337 or email sales@gottschalkmusiccenter.net. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

We will then examine your equiptment and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. 

Damaged and Defective Products
For a damaged/defective product, contact us at 209-723-3337 or email sales@gottschalkmusiccenter.net within 72 hours of receipt, for assistance. To qualify for return shipping, you must notify us of any problems within 72 hours of receipt. Your claim will be investigated and may take up to 10 business days to be processed.

Please do not discard the damaged merchandise, the box, and packing material. 

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received your funds within 5 days of being notified of an issued refund, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@gottschalkmusiccenter.com.


Shipping to Gottschalk Music Center

To return your product, return a rental, or ship an item for repair, please ship your product to: 355 W. Main Street Merced CA USA 95340.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Gottschalk Music Center is not responsible for any part of the process of shipping returned items.

Repairs

If you wish to have Gottschalk Music Center repair your band or orchestra instrument, please contact the repair shop at (559) 298-4400 or email kris@gottschalkmusiccenter.net.

If you need your guitar, bass guitar, or percussion instruments repaired, please call 209-723-3337 (Merced store) or 559-298-4400 (Clovis store).

Unclaimed equipment
GMC will hold completed and unpaid repairs for a period of 90 days. After this time period, the repair will become property of GMC.
